The Arrivals x BYBORRE

Technology meets textile – our collaborative capsule collection with NYC based The Arrivals presents future-facing technical knits designed to compliment your body’s movement without compromising all-weather protection.

This cross-continent collaboration combined a unique custom designed Byborre fabric with the aesthetics of The Arrivals.

Conceptually, the fabric and it’s design were inspired by the Holland America Line, an infamous shipping and passenger line that journeyed between the canals of The Netherlands to the docks of New York City, and how this personifies this collaboration between Dutch born Byborre and NYC based The Arrivals.

Graphics, shapes, and lines found in vintage promotional posters from the Holland America Line can be found throughout the knit lines in the emerald Byborre fabric. Signature to Byborre is the triple layered fabric and for this capsule collection it was produced using Italian Eco-cottons and a polyester insulating filling yarn.

The capsule collection comprised of the VÖLK Hoodie and Pant, both heavily featuring the Byborre fabric, along with the VÖLK Jacket with Byborre liner, and co-branded socks.
