In a way the On-Pattern knit scarves are a perfect example of the BYBORRE approach. The artwork that makes up the pattern of the scarf has been designed, scaled and programmed specifically for each piece. Colours are determined with the yarns in hand and using the specifications of one of the in house circular knitting machines a “blanket” is knit-out that exactly fits a certain amount of scarves. These are then cut out and finished with minimal waste fabric left over. Truly a dialogue between man and machine and a BYBORRE classic at this point.
